"Though Murdoch Walker was not the lowest of my three bids, I gave him the job.  My roof was leaking badly.  The previous roofer had not installed it correctly.  Though the prior job had been performed about 10 years ago, the roofer had not installed flashing anywhere nor had he installed the roof tiles correctly.  Murdoch Walker diagnosed the problem and where possible, worked with small parts of the existing roof and plywood.  HIs diagnosis was made after examining the roof from both the attic as well as  looking at the roof and walking around to examine areas.  He also took pictures of the more troublesome areas as well as made sure that my support beams,
visible in the attic, had not been damaged by the water. He installed the new roof.  As mentioned, he worked with small parts of the existing roof.  He was able to do so because I kept the same roof color.  I no longer have any leaks. All plaster walls that were damaged by the water have now been repaired by my carpenter.  There have been no further leaks.  In fact, the leaks were so bad that it damaged some wood shingles on the outside of my home.  Those have been replaced, too.  I am very happy with the job Murdoch Walker performed.  I have recommended him to other people.  He is fair, honest and an excellent roofer. He did have a crew but he oversaw all work performed.  I highly recommend him."
